Bike Permits
Parking permits will be required to park bikes, e-bikes, scooters, and skateboards on the campus of Oso Grande Elementary School after October 16th, 2023.
The purpose of this requirement is to educate students about transportation safety and help keep our Grizzlies safe as they travel to and from school. Parents/guardians are our number 1 partner in this effort. We ask that both students and guardians sit down to complete the application and review the transportation safety materials together.
After submitting the application, students may visit the Front Office to obtain a 2023-24 OGES Parking Permit to adhere to their vehicle.
- Please complete the application for each vehicle (e-bike/bike/scooter/skateboard) the student intends to ride to school.
- Please note that OGES Transportation Permits are only valid for the school year they were issued and are only valid for 3rd - 5th graders.
- Please remember that in the state of California, you must be at least 16 years of age to ride a Class 3 e-bike. As all of our students are below the age of permission, permits will not be issued for Class 3 e-bikes.
Bikes, e-bikes, scooters, and skateboards without parking permits, or students who violate the rules outlined herein, are at risk of being cited by Orange County Sheriff’s Department and/or having the bike/e-bike/scooter/skateboard confiscated and released to parent.
It is the responsibility of the student to lock and secure their e-bikes/bikes/scooters/skateboards. The District is not responsible for damage or theft of e-bikes/bikes/scooters/skateboards on campus, or enroute to and from campus.
