OSO GRANDE ELEMENTARY

Dear Students, Families, and Team Members of Oso Grande, 

 

It is with great appreciation and excitement that I have accepted the position as Principal of Oso Grande Elementary School. I am grateful to continue working closely with you all. We have accomplished so much as a community, and I am committed to continuing this success, as well as, all that we will achieve together! 

 

For the past sixteen years, I have had the privilege of serving different communities in Northern and Southern California as a kindergarten through 4th-grade teacher, K-8 instructional coach, Academic Dean, Dean of School Culture, Assistant Principal, TK-8 Principal, and most recently Interim Principal at Oso Grande. 

 

Over the past 6 months, it has been an honor to have the opportunity to lead a school with such a rich tradition of excellence. As a passionate educational leader, I deeply believe in Oso Grande’s mission and vision. Together as a community, we will celebrate successes and focus on goals in the areas of academic achievement, social-emotional learning, student leadership, character education, day-to-day operations, community partnerships and family engagement. I will use community feedback and data to analyze trends and set targets for moving forward.

 

It is crucial to create a safe, joyful, equitable, and inclusive environment for all.
